Princess Metuge emigrated from Liberia to Rhode Island in 1999 and continued her College education at Rhode Island College where she acquired a Bachelor of Science degree in Management in 2005. She later enrolled at Regis University – Denver Colorado and obtained her Master’s in Business Administration in 2009.
Princess previously worked in the Human service field for over six years as a Residential Director while pursuing her undergraduate degree. Currently she works full-time at the University of Rhode Island Feinstein College of Education and Professional Studies as a Career Counselor/Adjunct Faculty and part-time at Rhode Island College Outreach programs as Program Coordinator for the Social and Human Service Assistant Certificate program, and is a member of the Rhode Island Career Development Association (RICDA). She is co-founder of Professional Adult Development Institute – a newly formed organization geared towards providing quality education and training to at risk adult learners in the Science and Math fields.
Her passion is to give back to her community and country as a whole. Most of her work involves educating individuals on professional and workforce development – providing the resources and tools needed to gain employment and achieve career and goals.
