Topic: Funding for otherwise unpaid internship programs: SUII and the Pathways Internship Program.
Does your campus have a fund to help students earn money for otherwise unpaid internship experiences? Are you looking to enhance non-credit bearing internships with some career/workforce development ideas for students? Come learn how Framingham State University administers two different grant funded opportunities that help students get paid:
- State University Internship Incentive (SUII) program: funded by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and with matching support from the University
- The Pathways Program: exists through generous support from the Jacobs Foundation, and comes with a requirement to complete career/workforce development activities
Rich Davino, current NEACEFE MA State Director and Director of Career Services and Employer Relations at Framingham State University will facilitate. Come to learn about the process for each of these programs, and to share programs that exist on your campuses!
Register and include questions you might have here.
*Meeting information will be sent within 24 hours of registering
